Fundraising Rules and Regulations
Registrants agree to raise or contribute a total of $3,500 by September 1, 2015 to participate as a charity runner with Team CAF at the 2015 TCS NYC Marathon. In order to retain the entry, the athlete must raise or contribute at least $2,000 toward the total amount ($3,500) by July 1, 2015.

If the athlete is not able to compete, withdrawal requests must be received in writing via e-mail to jasonk@challengedathletes.org. Without exception, all requests must be received on or before July 1, 2015 to be released out of $3,500 fundraising commitment. All money raised up to that point is non-refundable. Transfers or deferments of entry are NOT permitted.

If an athlete is injured during training after July 1, 2015, he or she is still responsible for raising or providing the $3,500 minimum, regardless if able to compete. Additionally, if any portion of race and/or the entire event is canceled for any reason beyond the control of the Challenged Athletes Foundation, the athlete is still required to raise $3,500 by September 1, 2015.
