When I see positivity in the face of true human challenge, I’m beyond moved.
Some are wounded serving our country. Others deal with life-long issues from birth or degenerative diseases. Still others survive accidents. All could quit but many don’t.
They persevere, overcome, and exude a spirit that’s downright contagious.
The Challenged Athletes Foundation (CAF) makes it all possible.
Because CAF believes that everyone should have access to what they need to live active, healthy lives, building self-esteem, independence, and quality of life.
CAF grants change lives. Perhaps even saves them. Check this out!
I’m inspired to support the “CAF Family” with a challenge of my own.
This October I will again do the Million Dollar Challenge – a 620-mile bike ride from San Francisco to San Diego. I raised $17K my first year for CAF and $20K last year.
I’m boldly stepping up to $30K in honor of CAF’s 30th anniversary.
I’m committed to celebrate everyday heroes like Michelle, Kevin, Steven, Tavian, Lance, Eric and other challenged athletes who inspire us every mile and long after our journey is done.
On behalf of all those waiting to get their arm, leg, bike or chair, will you please help CAF change more lives?
I thank you for your generous heart. ❤
