Saturday October 14, I launch from Fishermans Wharf in San Francisco on the Million Dollar Challenge; a 7 day, 620-mile charity bike ride from San Francisco to San Diego. This years event not only celebrates 30 years since the creation of the Challenged Athletes Foundation, based in San Diego, but is the final event of this kind to be mounted by CAF. I am very blessed and excited to be participating for the 6th time.
Your generosity already is overwhelming and I am so pleased to announce that with your help I have already raised over $30k. If you have not donated already please consider making a donation which will go directly to the Challenged Athletes Foundation; an incredible 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that provides funding and inspiration to thousands of physically challenged athletes, from all over the world, each year so they can participate in sports, compete, and live life to the fullest.
in 2020 CAF funded 3,921 grants totaling $5.9 million across 103 different sports in all 50 states + Puerto Rico and 42 countries around the world.
Many CAF sponsored athletes have even competed in paralympic events. That is why I am challenging myself to make a difference in their lives.
Please consider making a donation on my fundraising page and I will look forward to updating you on my progress as I ride down the coast.
Thank you so much for your support!
