Help me raise money for the Challenged Athletes Foundation (CAF)! The first ride in the summer of 2021 - raised $30,000 peddeling my bicycle from San Clemente, California to my 50-yr. High School Reunion, 2899 miles away, in Neptune, New Jersey.

It was a challenge.  My personal idenity changed and priorities shifted - a purpose became clear. 

So ... on October 24th 2021, after participating in the San Diego Triathalon ... https://www.challengedathletes.org/events/sdtc/  ... I rode across the country to Florida ...  raising money for CAF!   2,899 Miles! Thanks for inspiring ME - as the fundraiser and bike rider -  and thanks for your kindness.  We got up to $79,000 ... Wow!

Now What?   Let's Keep Going Around The Country - Florida to Portland, Maine - On To Seattle, Washington ... And Returning To San Diego, California on October 23, 2022.  1-Year From The Start - Approximately 8,000 Miles - AND GO AROUND TWELVE TIMES!!!  All To Promote The Awareness Of The Challenged Athletes Foundation.  Currently on LAP #3 - finish this third lap on November 2, 2024 in San Diego. (Complete the 12-yr. event on November 28, 2033 ... 100,000 miles on my 80th birthday. 12-yrs. @ 8,000 miles a yr.). Yes!

I am so excited to raise awareness and money for this organization because I want to make someone’s dreams of racing, swimming, or running come true. One of my best friends is a CAF member and a great mountain climber.  That's how I got involved.  

CAF’s mission is clear: give those with the desire to live active, competitive lifestyles every opportunity to compete in the sports they love.
